dongxiangzuzizhixianIntroduction：Dongxiang Nationality: Dongxiang Autonomous County is in the southwest of central Gansu Province, east of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, with an east diameter of 103°10′～44′. It is close to the neighboring Dingxi City in the east, the Guanghe and Hezheng counties in the south, the Daxia River and Linxia City and Linxia County in the west, and the Yellow River and Yongjing County in the north. Historically, Dongxiang did not have a county system, and it was under the jurisdiction of Hezhou. On August 22, 1949, Dongxiang was liberated. In October 1950, according to the policy of regional ethnic autonomy, the Dongxiang Autonomous Region was established at the county level. In 1955, according to the Constitution of the People's Republic of China, it was officially named Dongxiang Autonomous County. In 2011, the total production value of Dongxiang Autonomous County reached 979 million yuan.
