The county and northwest are close to Gongbu Jiangda County, and the south is connected to Longzi County. It is 9471 square kilometers, including 4.4 million mu of cultivated land and 4.8 million mu of forest. The population is 23,000. It consists of 3 towns and 5 townships (one of which is a nationality township) and 100 village committees. The county government resident Dongduo Village is 480 kilometers away from Lhasa, the capital of the autonomous region, and 72 kilometers away from Bayi Town, the administrative office of the Linzhi District.
