It is connected to Beibei District and Hechuan District in the west and Huaying City in Guang'an City of Sichuan Province in the north. As of the end of 2013, Yubei District was 1452 square kilometers. It contains 10 streets and 11 towns; the permanent residence is 1,465,200.
