The county government is located in Yinggen Town, 136 kilometers north of Haikou City, 165 kilometers south of Sanya City, 90 kilometers east of Wancheng Town, and 84 kilometers west of that big town. The middle line of Haitang runs through the whole territory, and the road network is radiated to the surrounding area. It is a transportation hub for the north-south and east-west direction of Hainan Island Highway. Every day, there are shuttle buses to all parts of the island.
