The hydropower resources that can be developed are 75,000 kilowatts, and the installed capacity is 25,000 kilowatts. The main specialty products are “Wanjiaxiang” high-quality rice, Chinese kiwifruit, shiitake mushroom, fungus, tea, glutinous rice, ponkan and so on. It is a high-quality rice production base in South China and the southernmost kiwifruit production base in the country.
