The intersection of Zhushan Road and Zhongshan Road is the most prosperous downtown. The Ming Dynasty Pintaozhai in the Pearl River District is a national key cultural relics protection unit. The former site of the 10th Army Military Commission Office of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army is also in the territory.
