Kwun Tong DistrictIntroduction:Kwun Tong District was once a strategic location for the economy and the military. The area around Kwun Tong Hill, including Kowloon Bay, was originally a salt field. Salt production and taxation to salt traders became the source of revenue for the Government at that time. The original name of Kwun Tong was Kwun Tong. It was literally interpreted as a pond owned by the government. It is about 580,000 people. It is on the east side of the Kowloon Peninsula, south to Lei Yue Mun, and east to the south of the Goose Mountain. The original name of Kwun Tong was Kwun Tong. Kwun Tong District is a small metropolis with the development of industrial and commercial and residential developments at the same time. However, the old villages in the district, such as Lei Yue Mun, still retain a long-standing cultural heritage. A number of community development projects have been implemented in the district, including the construction of new facilities such as schools, clinics and community centres to cope with the rapid growth. These facilities have made the Kwun Tong District look new and create a comfortable living environment for the public.
