Yingjisha, formerly known as "Ingisal", Uyghur means "New City" is the station of the ancient land Silk Road, one of the eight major towns in southern Xinjiang. Yingjisha County is 3,425 square kilometers. It consists of 1 town and 13 townships, with 380,300 mu of cultivated land, including Uyghur, Han, Hui, Wubu Buick, Kirgiz, Kazakh, etc., with 284,000 people (2013).
