In the southeastern part of the state, at the junction of Qing, Sichuan and Gansu provinces, the southeast is adjacent to Aba County of Sichuan Province, the south is connected to Banma County, the west is adjacent to Dari County, and the northwest is adjacent to the Yellow River and Gande County across the river.
