kangdingxianIntroduction：Introduction to Kangding: Kangding County is located in the eastern part of Ganzi Prefecture. The latitude is 29°39'~30°45ˊ, and the east longitude is 101°33ˊ～102°38ˊ. It borders Baoxing, Tianquan, Luding and Shimian County in the east, Jiulong and Muli County in the south, Yajiang County in the west and Xiaojin, Danba and Daofu County in the north. The east and west are 140 kilometers wide, the longest from north to south is 180 kilometers, and the area is 1,142.75 square kilometers. The county people's government is stationed in the town. Kangding is a Chinese name, because the east of Danda Mountain is "Kang", it takes the meaning of Kangdi stability, hence the name. The Tibetan language is called Kangding as “a lot of discounts”, which means to play (Yala River) and bend (folding river) at the intersection of two rivers. The old history has been translated as "burning the stove", and later translated "burning furnace", referred to as the furnace city.
