It is an independent industrial zone approved by the State Council. It is located in the northern part of Xinxiang City, the foothills of the Phoenix Mountain in the Taihang Mountains. It covers an area of ​​115.6 square kilometers and administers 3 townships in Dabu Town, Qihuang Township and Yuwang County, and two sub-district offices in Baodong and Baoxi. The cultivated area is 5958 hectares. It is about 10 kilometers from the city center and 99 kilometers from Zhengzhou, the provincial capital. The Beijing-Guangzhou Railway runs through the whole territory, and the east side is close to the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and the 107 National Highway. The South-North Water Transfer Middle Line Project under construction, the Jidong Expressway, the Xinjin Expressway, and the Henan-Northern Henan Branch of the West-East Gas Pipeline are all passed through the territory. There are ancient cultural sites such as Lubao Longshan Culture, Heshao Yangshao Culture, and Makino War; the largest tomb of the King of the Kings, the Tomb of the King, has been included in the World Cultural Heritage Reserve List. On January 1, 2004, a new zoning adjustment was implemented. The North Station District was renamed Fengquan District, and the original Xinxiang County Bulk Town was placed under Fengquan District.
